Trainers

The Original Trainer is a support that has proven its effectiveness in dealing with foot, knee, hip and back pain in over 35 years of use. It is designed to encourage the foot into a natural and neutral position during standing and walking, and it offers support that is both firm and flexible. The Trainer is the support of choice for customers of all ages and a wide variety of foot problems. It fits the majority of shoe types and can easily be moved from work shoes to recreational shoes, leisure shoes or slippers.

Adapting to the support can be made easier by adding the Balance or the Freedom to the break – in process. This is accomplished by wearing the Trainer for 30 to 60 minutes the first day and then the Freedom for an additional 60 to 90 minutes. Beginning with the second day, add up to 30 minutes of wearing time for each pair until the support can be worn comfortably for at least 8 hours a day.

The Trainer is available in 17 sizes of the wide width design and 14 sizes of the narrow width design. The narrow width design should be used whenever the client’s heel measures less than 2 inches. The narrow design will provide a good fit to the narrow shoe and a snug fit to the customer’s heel.
